Writers on the Storm 2007 Semifinalists

Ladies and gentlemen, Writers on the Storm is please to announce our 2007 Semifinalists. These are the top 50 scripts we received. They are some wicked good scripts and some very, very good writers. If you are on this list, know that you've got the goods. If you're not, know that there were some tough decisions we had to make, with many quarterfinalists only narrowly missing the mark. Many of those are only a draft or a few tweaks away from being Top 50 material.

Now comes the really hard part--cutting this list down to the Top 10, which we will announce on July 6. Again our congratulations, and thanks to everyone who participated.

Man, I would love to read one of this guy Gor's scripts. No doubt it would be a laugh riot. Unintentionally.

Congrats to all of you on this list! I hope Writers on the Storm posts the winning script or even the top ten, so we can check 'em out, although that's probably not possible rigth? not sure if I'd want my entire script posted, especially if it won, too easy to filch. but it would be nice if there was some way to share the winners with everyone. Anybody have any ideas?

Have the Top Ten already been notified? Thanks.

Sadly, while I like the idea, we definitely won't be posting the winning script. That would just open to the door to all sorts of potential malfeasance!

And yep, the top ten have of course been notified!
