I'M LOOKING FOR A GOOD CLASS TO TAKE ON SCREENWRITING. I'M JUST GETTING STARTED AND LIVE IN LA. ARE THERE ANY THAT ANYONE RECOMMENDS? I'VE READ SEVERAL OF THE BOOKS AND I THINK I HAVE THE BASICS--3-ACT STRUCTURE, THE SYD FIELD PARADIGM, ETC. BUT I WOULD WOULD LIKE TO WRITE A SCRIPT IN A CLASSROOM SETTING I GUESS AT LEAST FOR THE FIRST ONE. SOMEONE MENTIONED UCLA BUT I LOOKED AT THEIR CATALOG AND THEIR CLASSES ARE VERY EXPENSIVE.
Hey justsomedude, try The Writer's Store. You want to get genuine Acco brand brass brads. Or any mom & pop stationery store. Or just google "Acco brass fasteners."
Sam, UCLA may be a bit pricey for some classes, but you get what you pay for. Try UCLA extension classes. You can generally find a good writing class for around $350-$400 for the quarter. Don't forget to figure in parking though, since UCLA rips you off in a big way--$8 a pop adds up fast! Santa Monica college also offers some great writing classes on the cheap. And if you really want the gold standard in writing classes, check out either Writers Boot Camp or UCLA Professional Program. These programs are not cheap but they are fantastic, immersive programs that churn out working writers.
Ha! Now that's funny. Superdud, I agree with you 100%! The S is way too small, and the dark red leather cape looks like crap. Although I do like Bradon Routh, even with the muscle suit under the costume he still looks a bit scrawnY!
Yeah and the little panties he's in look like ass, too. And those dumb boots! Man they got it all wrong. It's embarrassing. I can't believe DC comics would ever have approved that costume. I'll go watch Sandy Collora's World's Finest superman.batman short film to see what actual respect for the costume designs from the comics looks like.

Does anybody know where to get those brads to bind scripts with.

Man, what is up with that new Superman costume??? It looks like ass! Has anybody got any inside word on this movie?
